Ray C Mulligan, is a lover of fantasy, games, supernatural beings, and above those, a lover of anime. During the day he dawns the title of a software engineer, but the urge to write, was too great a thing to steer him clear from it. With him being a strong loving leading husband and father, he pours that same intensity into his writing. He got the idea of writing Mtawala from the constant years of watching shows like Big wolf on Campus, Supernatural, books like Harry Potter, Vampire Diaries, movies like Rise of the Lycans, and animes such as Seven Deadly sins (the 1st season) and Yu Yu Hakusho. With some of these films and pieces of writing mentioned, for Ray, they depicted wolves as they are meager, weak, and inadequate.
With the readings from Mtawala: Darkside of the Moon, these wolves has been reimagined, these wolves have an array of new abilities unfamiliar to you and some you will be familiar with, that will make them a more formidable. With that in mind, he went to writing. Wanting to bring anime into a book novel format, as well as having his readers engaged in the readings and visualizing the fight scenes and the characters within the world of Mtawala. As an author, it is his hope that his audience loves the story and find the book a happy escape from the daunting tasks of reality. Also, it is his hope that the characters are relatable to the readers as well.
